Throughout the school year most of the Green Thumbs program participants are children, but we have found many ways to involve other age groups in our programming, and look forward to developing many of these ideas further. Some of these age groups include:
- preschoolers, Kindergarten Readiness groups, day cares, parenting centres, pre- and post-natal groups
- high school students completing community service hours
- youth summer staff
- adult/parent volunteers
- seniors’ programs both with other seniors or with children, or youth, or both.
