Urban Roots Youth
Urban Roots Youth is a youth-centered program that takes place in our greenhouses and gardens, after school, from spring through fall. It’s a great way to get to know other secondary school students who are interested in food and the environment, and to learn about urban agriculture. As you learn and help in the school gardens, you can earn hours towards an honorarium.

“This program is wonderful!!”
“We always work together to finish a task. During that time, we discussed, argued, learnt new knowledge and found new friends. I think it was really the most important part to the program.”
“I love when we planted the seeds and after one week they grew a lot. And we made lots of healthy food together, learnt a lot about urban agriculture and discussed some questions.”
“I had a wonderful time doing this program and can’t wait for next year!!!”
Calling out for youth to join us this Spring, 2016! ♥
